Southeast U.S. – Canadian Provinces (SEUS-CP)
The Global Business team at the Alabama Department of Commerce, along with Export Alabama, is organizing an international business development mission to the Southeast U.S. – Canadian Provinces Event, June 21-23, 2026.
Established in 2007, the Southeast U.S.–Canadian Provinces (SEUS-CP) Alliance promotes trade and investment cooperation and encourages technological collaboration between its member U.S. states and Canadian provinces. The SEUS-CP Annual Conference serves as a key platform for advancing cross-border commercial engagement, bringing together companies, government representatives, and industry leaders to explore new partnership and investment opportunities.
As part of the SEUS-CP Alliance, Alabama will lead a business delegation to Greenville, South Carolina to participate in the SEUS-CP Annual Conference. The conference will feature a structured business-to-business (B2B) matchmaking program, providing Alabama firms with direct access to Canadian companies, government agencies, and decision-makers. Participation in this event will support Alabama exporters in strengthening commercial relationships, identifying new trade and investment opportunities, and expanding their presence in Canada—one of Alabama’s largest and most strategically important international trading partners.
