Southeast U.S. – Japan (SEUS-Japan) Annual Meeting
The Global Business team at the Alabama Department of Commerce, along with Export Alabama, is organizing an international business development mission to the Southeast U.S. – Japan Annual Meeting, October 25-27, 2026.
Now in its 48th year, the annual joint meeting of the Southeast U.S./Japan Association (SEUS/Japan) and the Japan/U.S. Southeast Association (Japan/USSE) serves as a premier platform for strengthening commercial and investment ties between Japan and the Southeastern United States. The conference is designed to promote foreign direct investment (FDI) from Japanese companies while supporting export growth for Alabama and other Southeastern firms offering goods and services in the Japanese market.
Participation in the SEUS–Japan conference provides Alabama economic developers and business leaders with a valuable opportunity to engage directly with senior Japanese government officials, corporate executives, and regional stakeholders from both Japan and the Southeast U.S. Through high-level networking, targeted business discussions, and sessions focused on current trade and investment trends, as well as economic outlooks in Japan and the Southeastern United States, the conference supports relationship-building and long-term strategic engagement with one of Alabama’s most important international economic partners.
